Church Family — Important Update for This Sunday
Due to the significant amount of rain we’ve already received, additional precipitation on the way, and temperatures expected to remain below freezing through the weekend, we’ve made the decision to move our Sunday service to online-only.
This is not a decision we make lightly. Scripture reminds us in Hebrews of the importance of not forsaking the gathering of God’s people, and we deeply value coming together in person. At the same time, we are grateful that—unlike much of church history—God has given us the ability in moments like this to still gather, worship, and be encouraged by His Word, with the technology we have.
We will go live on Facebook and YouTube at 11:00 AM, and we invite you to join us from home, stay warm, and worship with us as the church—scattered, yet still united.
And since we’re First Baptist Blanket, this weekend feels like a good reminder to do what our name suggests:
Stay warm
Check in on one another
Let us know if you or someone needs assistance.
We look forward to the day we can gather again in person soon.
Grace and peace
